Since when did “I am good” replace “I am well”

NO!

Good applies to behaviour or ability – not to a state of health.

To cure the nation, presenters should start asking “And what are you good at?”

PS Sorry about that – but I just had to get it off my chest!

The answer should be either “I am well” or “I am fine”
